Leading up to almost every major trade show or convention, a series of press releases come out from companies big and small saying that they are going to be making a big announcement at said trade show/convention. One of the more recent examples of this is Capcom announcing that they will be announcing fantastic Marvel vs....

BioWare’s controversial Mass Effect 3 remains a hot topic this week as we discuss the some of the fan rage towards the game along with its first multiplayer event. Also in the news is Patcher’s thoughts that the Wii U could be Nintendo’s Dreamcast, Microsoft saying there will be no new Xbox at E3 and Crytek hyping up Homefront 2. Let’s Begin. Game UK has sent out an email to buyers, advising them that due to supply chain issues, the company is no longer expecting to receive the fridges in its warehouse until the end of December. If you pre-ordered one of the branded mini appliances in time for Christmas, you should expect delivery by 7 January. If you pre-ordered one for collection, you’ll be able to go and pick it up in-store on 7 January....

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a life-sim adventure game reminiscent of Nintendo’s Animal Crossing series and featuring popular characters from Disney and Pixar. After falling asleep while visiting their childhood home, player characters wake up having been transported to the titular Dreamlight Valley. Once home to a community of Disney and Pixar characters, many returned to their home dimensions after their leader disappeared. Unfortunately, those who stayed started losing their memories due to the influence of strange vines called Night Thorns, and it’s the player’s job to clear them out and rebuild the town....

Now the wait is over, as Cyanide Studio has announced that Focus Home Interactive will publish the first of the two games (the RTS) which will be called: Game of Thrones: Genesis. Over the last couple of days, HBO’s only confirmed Game of Thrones spin-off, for now, was wrapping up final details so House of the Dragon can start shooting its first 10 episodes next April, after showrunners Miguel Sapochnik and Ryan S. Condal are said to be close to being done with the script. With that in mind, it’s only natural for House of the Dragon to be filling the last few remaining roles available in the series’ cast....

Kicking things off, \ new Avowed details have surfaced via Windows Central. The game will reportedly be similar to Skyrim mechanically, with visuals more akin to The Outer Wilds. Additionally, the game will reportedly be more class-based than what Skyrim offers, which will be a curse or a blessing depending on the player’s preferences. San Diego Comic-Con is here, and here in a big way. Comics, movies, video games, and everything pop culture is part of the event known as Comic-Con.
