GameStop has sent out an email to customers detailing its next PS5 in-store restock, scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 16. Like its other recent restocks, one must be signed up for the GameStop PowerUp Rewards Pro program to have the chance to purchase a PS5 console. The other caveat is that basic PS5 consoles won’t be included in the restock; customers will have to pick between one of two PlayStation 5 console bundles. Specific pricing information is not available at the time of this writing, but one can expect to pay hundreds of dollars more than they would if they were able to buy a PS5 console by itself.

Luckily, the GameStop PS5 bundles come with some items that new owners may want anyway. There will be two bundles available, with the first featuring the standard PlayStation 5 console with a disc drive. This one also comes with a Galactic Purple DualSense controller, a DualSense charging station, a copy of Call of Duty: Vanguard, and a $60 PlayStation Plus Essential subscription. The other bundle will feature the PS5 Digital Edition console, and it also comes with a Galactic Purple controller, charging station, and PS Plus subscription, but instead of Call of Duty: Vanguard it has a Pulse 3D Wireless Headset.

GameStop PS5 Restock Date

Saturday, July 16

Those who still have yet to get their hands on a PS5 console may very well want to consider signing up for a GameStop PowerUp Rewards Pro membership to increase their chances of getting one. It still won’t guarantee that they will be able to walk into GameStop on July 16 and walk out with a PS5 console in tow, but they won’t have a chance to buy one at all without being signed up for the membership.

If one doesn’t have any luck getting a PS5 during the next GameStop PS5 in-store restock, there will be more opportunities down the line. They can also try signing up for other retail membership programs, like the Walmart+ subscription service if their attempts at getting a console through GameStop continue to fall through.
