Xbox consoles had a bit of a rocky start in its humble beginnings with the original console failing to keep up with the PlayStation 2. However, things took a turn for the better when the Xbox 360 became one of Microsoft’s best-selling consoles.

Reddit user HypebeastTatted posted a picture of the rug they made in the shape and design of the Xbox logo. The design is more leaning toward the look the logo had around the early 2010s with the “x” on the spherical ball consistent with the Xbox 360 era that is still in service to this day. The original Xbox colors of black and green are also present here being the original colors used in the logos even to this day.
Xbox fans are a dedicated bunch as are many console fans in general, one fan going as far as to have an Xbox Series S cake for their birthday. Making a rug like this takes some skill and this fan pulled it off very nicely, keeping to the shape and design of the recognizable Xbox logo. Rugs of this style and crafting are generally expensive to buy from artists, therefore HypebeastTatted did a great job here for themselves.
Xbox console fan art can range from something like this rug or even just to customizing an Xbox Series X inspired by the film Pan’s Labyrinth. Things like this are usually made by fans, so they can own something cool that is custom-made with much less cost to themselves financially and much more fulfilling outcomes. The beauty of fan art is making something new and sharing it with other like-minded individuals who can appreciate the hard work and artistry.
With Xbox outselling PS5 in Japan and Game Pass making games more accessible for those that don’t have a console, there is potential for more awesome works like this one. Fan art has always been a staple in fandom, and this rug is a great homage to the Xbox brand and the impact it has had on gamers over the years and generations. Despite anything, there will always be those dedicated fans like HypebeastTatted who go out of their way to show their love for their favorite game or console.
