Kicking things off, Ubisoft announced Ghost Recon: Frontline, a new battle royale game featuring more than 100 players. While Ubisoft is promising a twist on the battle royale genre, it will be a free-to-play game with concurrent multiplayer elements. Unfortunately, the game hasn’t been well received thus far, with fans over on Reddit criticizing the announcement and the reveal trailer being flooded with dislikes.

Next up, a massive Twitch leak has revealed the entirety of the platform’s codebase as well as its commit history, meaning all of Twitch is now out in the wild. Included in the leak was a list of how much streamers have made from the platform, with major streamers like HasanAbi, xQc, and more being featured. However, some streamers have refuted that the number is accurate, namely Asmongold.

In other news, PlayStation has officially purchased Bluepoint Games, the studio behind games like the Demon’s Souls and Shadow of the Colossus remakes. While it isn’t clear what the studio is working on, besides an “original” project, the developer is also rumored to be making a Bloodborne Remake, or potentially a sequel.

And finally, there’s been some news on the Konami front. The developer is rumored to be bringing back Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid, and Silent Hil, each to different degrees. It isn’t the first time that such rumors have popped up, but it’s something plenty of fans would like to see. While there’s no tangible timeline for when the games would appear, the VGAs are right around the corner.
